Under the tuition of Ewa Feix, you will learn:
– How to tort and fill a cake
– How to work with ganache
– How to cover a cake with fondant
– How to get sharp edges
– How to use key cake tools like smoothers, metal scrapers and palette knives
This is a decoration focused class so when you arrive, all the cake is freshly baked, the ganache is freshly made and so you learn how to put an Although there is no baking, please bring an apron (as you will still be working with ganache), a notebook and pen and you are welcome to take pictures throughout the class so you can bring your camera as well. No video is allowed.
You will be provided with a box for your completed cake but you can always bring a bag for easier transport back home.
By the end of the 4 hour tuition you will have a professionally decorated cake that tastes as good as it looks to take home and enjoy with family and friends.
Cold and warms drinks are included. As well as small finger food like salad, fruits and chips. Also included in the workshop fee are all materials, ingredients and tools.
One week before the course, all participants will receive an email with driving directions and more information about getting to the course.
